Details
Each Gate Control device can draw up to 4 Amps when opening or closing. In a typical single-user scenario, only one gate is opening while another is closing at any given time, so the simultaneous current draw stays well within a single Power Bank's 20A capacity.
Consider adding additional Power Banks if:
- Your shop has multiple simultaneous users. More users means more gates changing position at the same time, increasing the peak current draw.
- Your shop requires long wire runs. Voltage can drop over long distances. Adding a Power Bank closer to a cluster of devices reduces wire length and ensures reliable operation.
- You have a large number of devices spread across the shop. Distributing Power Banks across the space simplifies wiring and improves overall system reliability.
