USB Trigger
USB Trigger
Plug-and-play automation for tools with a dedicated computer.
The USB Trigger sits between the tool's computer and its monitor, keyboard, and mouse — detecting when the operator is running a job so GRIT can automate the blast gate and collector. No electrical wiring, no current sensing; ideal for CNC routers, lasers, and plasma tables that run off a Windows, Mac, or Linux workstation.
Key Features
- KVM pass-through: Intercepts keyboard, video, and mouse without disrupting the workstation
- USB powered: Draws power and communicates over a single USB cable to the computer
- Optional companion app: Deeper job-state detection via desktop software
- HDMI video: Standard HDMI pass-through for the tool's monitor
- Status LED: Red/green indicator shows locked, idle, or running
