Gate Control

Automated actuator for 2.5", 3", and 4" metal blast gates.

The small-diameter Gate Control bolts onto any standard metal blast gate between 2.5" and 4", turning it into a Hub-controlled device. When a GRIT Trigger detects a tool running, the Hub opens the right gates and closes the rest — no rewiring your ductwork, no replacing your existing blast gates.

Compatibility

For existing metal blast gates between 2.5" and 4" in diameter. Blast gates themselves are not included. Power via the GRIT 12V Power Bank (sold separately) or any 12V AC supply. For 5"-8" gates, see the medium Gate Control; for 9"-12" gates, see the large Gate Control.

Installation

Bolt the actuator onto your existing blast gate using the included hardware, connect the gate arm and slide bracket, run 18/2 thermostat wire to a 12V supply, and pair with the Hub through the GRIT app. Daisy-chain additional gates off the same power run.

*GRIT Hub is required for device functionality. 12V Power Bank sold separately.

Important Notes

Blast gates are not sold by GRIT Automation. Systems with GRIT Track require a software upgrade (+20%) — contact us before ordering so we can configure your devices.
