things to consider as you're doing this is You can over calibrate or over open or close the gate and put it into a stressed mode and A way you can tell that is through a couple means One is just physically looking at the gate and if you're noticing as I was doing this I went to way more open and what I want you to look at is this arm and I'm going to just keep going more open and you're going to see that slide's going to stop opening

But this is going to start to bend a little bit and you'll be able to see that stress and we don't want that Now while it's in this overstressed position you can also look at the graph of power that the calibration menu has and It will show that the power is Spiking meaning that it's in a stressed position So it's another way for you to tell that you have this too far open or closed So I'm gonna back this off and I'm gonna keep backing it off until I see It in a more relaxed neutral position, which it is now

So I've calibrated this all the way open now I'm gonna hit close and I'm gonna do the same thing keep hitting more closed Until I reach that point that is closed enough and As we just said you're gonna keep going until you feel that there's a stressed position or that you just know it's closed enough and Because I don't have this hooked up to pipe I can see the inside of the gate and I can visually just tell Where's a good spot which is right there? So now I can just hit open hit closed open

You've closed your gate or opened it if it feels like it's sticking Realize that you might have closed it a little too much and that that nub might be binding in there All gates do not have that For example gates like this just have a pass-through and they stop themselves So you wouldn't have that type of scenario happening with a gate like this But many gates do have the stop nub that can cause some problems and something to be aware of To make sure you're happy with it
