The challenge

The floor is connected by people, paper, and memory.

Production shops often have capable equipment but disconnected controls. Operators open gates, start collectors, check credentials, record time, and track shared tools through separate routines.

Collection depends on the operator

A machine can run with the wrong blast gate open, the right gate closed, or the collector operating at more capacity than the active work requires.

Training records live away from the machine

A spreadsheet can list qualified operators, but it does not physically participate when someone tries to power on equipment.

When checkout, service history, documents, and current location live in different places, the shop spends time reconstructing what happened.
