Every single GRIT system starts with a GRIT Hub, then we can build your perfect system from there. If you're wanting automated dust collection and blast gates, then you will need a Trigger for each one of your tools. We have lots to choose from. Basically, you are looking to gather the information of the phase of power for your tool, the voltage, and the amperage draw. And from there, then you can select from a wide array or variety of Triggers
that we offer. Most of our Triggers for home shop use are a nice plug-and-play option, making installations super easy, super fast. After you find the right Trigger for your tool, then you will need to select the correct Collector device for your dust collector or dust collectors. You can have an unlimited amount of dust collectors in your system. Again, just like Triggers, we have plug-and-play options for single-phase collectors like a simple JET, something that's on and off. You would use a 120V or 220V Collector. If there's a contactor or a motor starter, you're going to
be selecting between our MagSwitch Collector or our iR/RF Collector if it comes with a remote control. After that, then you are going to be selecting the number and sizes of Gate Controls that you need. We offer two-and-a-half-inch all the way up to 12-inch. You're going to be retrofitting these onto your existing metal blast gate; something that has a nice, easy slide without any built-in locking mechanisms is what's going to be working for you. And then finally, after you
pick up all of your Gate Controls, you're going to need a Power Bank. If you have questions about how many of these you need, just shoot us an email. So that's how you put together your GRIT system.
