How it works.
Confirm the door or cabinet, existing hardware, power, release behavior, and applicable life-safety requirements.
Mount and wire the GRIT Latch and credential reader for the reviewed application.
Configure which GRIT Track users can request release at that opening.
The reader sends the credential to the local Hub for a permission check.
An authorized request releases the compatible latch for its configured interval. A denied request does not.
Use the GRIT interface to review the door or cabinet’s recorded credential events.

A badge-in record is not an occupancy or muster system.
The GRIT Latch records credential events at the controlled opening. It does not, by itself, prove that a person exited, determine who remains inside, or replace required emergency-egress and life-safety systems.
